What is Poople Unlimited?

Poople Unlimited is the repeat-play version of the four-letter word ladder to POOP. Instead of stopping after one shared daily puzzle, you can load another ladder immediately and play as many rounds as you want. Every puzzle follows the same core rule: change exactly one letter per move, keep every step in the accepted word list and reach POOP in as few moves as possible.

Published or Random Poople?

Choose Published to replay a previously released daily Poople with its recorded par and published route. Choose Random for a generated practice puzzle built from a common starting word. Unlimited play remains separate from today’s Poople, so changing modes or loading a new puzzle does not replace the current shared daily board.

• Published: replay an earlier daily start without searching the archive first.
• Random: practise on an additional start that is not used in the official schedule.
• Next Poople: finish a ladder and start another one without waiting for tomorrow.

How to play Poople Unlimited

1. Select Published or Random with the mode switch above the board.
2. Read the four-letter starting word and compare its letter positions with POOP.
3. Enter one accepted word at a time. Each new row must change exactly one letter.
4. Reach POOP and compare with par. Hint reveals a useful next letter, while Reveal displays the full route.
5. Select Next Poople after finishing to continue with another ladder.

There is no timer and no daily limit. You can test a direct route, follow a longer valid chain or restart with a different word whenever you want. For a complete explanation of tiles, assistance and move rules, read the How to Play Poople guide.

Solvable by design

How are Random Poople puzzles checked?

Random mode does not select arbitrary dictionary words. Its starts come from Poople Today’s validated four-letter word graph, are limited to familiar words and are checked for a route to POOP. The displayed par is the computed minimum distance within that word list. The generator also excludes every start word present in the official daily schedule, including unpublished future starts.

If several minimum routes exist, the game keeps a route designed to favour more familiar bridge words. Other valid routes may still reach POOP in the same number of moves. This makes Random mode useful for practising flexibility rather than memorising one fixed answer.
